the rules.
(follow them...or else!)
(follow them...or else!)
general rules
- don't be an ass, plain and simple. respect your fellow members, the staff members, and yourself.
- any sexist/racist/vulgar comments will NOT be tolerated on DIMV.
- i don't really care if you curse, just don't do it excessively. this goes for IC too.
- i would prefer it if you talked about sensitive topics (religion, politics, etc.) in a mature manner, or not at all.
- one wolf per account, you may have up to four accounts. two males, two females.
- don't spam anything, anywhere...or beg me to be on the staff. it's annoying.roleplay rules
- i am not going to follow you around with a pitchfork, stabbing you every time you make a grammatical or spelling error. i just don't want you to post one liners that look like this: star howld, then sat down and eeted grass. please make an effort, and try to post at least 250 words.
- this is a semi-fantasy wolf roleplay. magic and odd colors are allowed. i don't want to see a wolf running around with the horns of a ram, bat wings, and a gold earring, or a giant clock around its neck. no flava flavs here, 'kay?
- the staff will decide if your wolf gets pregnant after they mate. simply PM the administrator with the mother's name, the father's name, and the mating thread.
- she-wolves are pregnant for a week in real time, and when that week is up, a staff member will post the announcement.
- no graphic breeding. it's really disgusting.
- no forcebreeding.
- wolfspeek is a NO-NO. urban dictionary explains this rule best:
Wolfspeak is a bunch of words created by animal roleplayers to make them sound fancy and intelligent, when it really just makes them look like a pompous ass with a dictionary. Wolfspeakers are often also obsessed with making their wolves have accents, which would be perfectly fine if they didn't keep using the accents even when the wolf isn't speaking. Wolfspeakers are a shame to the real animal roleplaying community and are often looked down upon when they aren't with their own kind.
An example of wolfspeak:
Th' mighty brujo smelt th' scent of a femme blow through 'is nares. Tall pillars working quickly, 'e padded over to 'er an' 'e dipped his crown in respect. 'Is auds swiveled forwards as the sound of another brute coming towards them filled 'is ears. "Ah demand you t' show yerself, brujo! This 'ere terra is mine, an' this fae belongs to me! Challenge me if you wish, but for I am th' strongest wolf in th' forest, so do not expect t'win!" 'E 'owled, an' th' fierce brute let a growl escape 'is maw.odds and ends
